Not sure what to order for your first week? Here is a suggested combination of products. Kick off your CSA year by ordering some of the basics, such as honey, butter and oats, which you can use to make a delicious morning meal. Use some of the eggs to make a homemade mayo (recipe below) and pair with our sliced honey maple ham, parsley and mesclun salad mix. Snack on the ever delicious Yakon tuber. Try a stir fry dinner with the carrots, shallots, dino kale and pork stir fry. Have fun!
2 tsp apple cider vinegar (We promise we will show you how to make some of this in the fall!)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp stone ground mustard
3/4 cup avocado oil
- Combine egg yolk, apple cider vinegar, mustard, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in medium bowl. Blend using an immersion blender or whisk.
- Blending or whisking constantly, add avocado oil to yolk mixture, very slowly until desired consistancy
- Add lemon juice to taste
